Amanda Barnes

Executive Director

Amanda joins the Abilities Without Boundaries team with 10 years of experience in Business Management & Hospitality. She has worked with numerous nonprofits including elementary schools, churches and community centers, where she has become a pillar within the Connecticut nonprofit community. Amanda has been with AWB since 2016 and has been dedicated to her role in administration, problem solving, team building and the overall mission of AWB. During 2020 Amanda took a role with the State of Connecticut as an Investigator for DDS. She rejoined AWB in 2021 as Director of Operations and Human Resources. Amanda will be opening a JUICE BAR in New Haven County and plans to incorporate a juicing program at AWB for the participants and staff to share a wellness lifestyle! Amanda has great love and passion to serve the individuals in our care.
