Group Supported Employment Support for I/DD Adults in CT

Through community-based partnerships we provide numerous work opportunities. Each partnering employer provides an accommodating work environment where individuals gain hands-on work experience. We organize individuals into work enclaves that travel to different job sites. We supply each enclave with an on-site Program Instructor providing supervisory support and assistance as the job demands. Some enclaves also work at our facilities in order to prepare for community placement. These individuals gain work experience through job opportunities brought to us including: printing and labeling, mail and packet stuffing, shredding and bottle and can recycling.

Individual Supported Employment

We offer competitive employment to individuals capable of working independently. Initially they perform a job with training from one of our program instructors who empowers the individual to work alone. Then our program instructor maintains contact, provides follow-up services and training for any new responsibilities added to the job. Wages paid for these individual positions are provided by the employers and are usually at or above minimum wage.
