Employment Partnership

Through our employment partnerships, Abilities Without Boundaries (AWB) provides valuable services to local businesses.  By hiring an AWB individual, employer partners cut costs, enhance workplace diversity and directly contribute to their communities.  AWB ensures your work will be done effectively and efficiently. You will be helping AWB by providing employment opportunities for our participants.

In addition to employing our individuals with an array of employer partners in the community, AWB has recently launched a number of innovative business start-ups within our agency.  Our individuals work to carry out tasks and contribute ideas to drive the business itself.  Document Shredding and Lawn Care Services are among these in-house businesses.

CUT COSTS

Hiring an individual from AWB saves you time and money in the hiring process. We have a pool of qualified workers and the expertise to match the right employee to each opening.

AWB can also help you save on training expenses. We provide on-site training for each employee and we train them following your specific qualifications.  Then, we supervise and continue training until both your organization and ours are confident that our individual can meet your job specifications.

When contracting one of our work crews, we provide insurance and payroll processing. You are billed monthly for their work on a fixed or piece-rate basis. The assisting AWB job coach is of no cost to the partnering organization and ensures that productivity and quality are of the highest caliber!

ENHANCE WORKPLACE DIVERSITY

By hiring an AWB individual, you are positively contributing to the advocacy efforts of AWB and proving to your community that people with developmental disabilities have vast abilities.  People with disabilities are one of the nation’s largest minorities and are often overlooked when considering diversity.  By encouraging acceptance and respect of people with differences in your workplace you will surely educate your employees and improve morale across your organization.
