Due to COVID-19, our event this year is a VIRTUAL EVENT.

Complete a 5K, Kid’s Fun Run or 1-Mile Walk between November 12 through 15, Thursday through Saturday. You can run any time of day. All miles count! Want to run or walk it on a treadmill? Why not? You can report your times, or chose not to. If you decide to run or walk with family or friends, please just be aware and practice social distancing.

This year we are sending a custom logoed face mask and race bib. All kids receive a race finisher ribbon.

All registered participants will be mailed a custom face mask and race bib prior to the start of the event if registered by November 8th. All participants registered after November 8th will receive face mask within 3-5 days after registering.

We Need Your Help More Than Ever!

As with all of us, COVID-19 has dramatically impacted our organization. Our other fundraisers, comedy show, wine tasting, are canceled. Meanwhile, we’ve pivoted to provide all possible support to our individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We launched an entire Zoom program: AWB Online©. This involves a continuing investment in technology, staff and resources. Many of our individuals live in group home where half-a-dozen people must share a single computer tablet. We’re creating Zoom broadcast studios with green screens in our building. For those individuals able to come to our facility or travel to worksites, we have a rigorous sanitation protocol — and all the attendant costs.

Due to HIPPA privacy regulations, we are not able to share the link to our live Zoom programs. But check out the Resources we’re making available to anyone safe at home.
