Sponsoring our Hot COCO event is a great way to support the community and enjoy recognition for your local business. Depending upon level, sponsors are recognized in our emails to runners across the state. All are noted in social media posts and on our website with valuable backlinks to your website. We will gladly accept sponsorship right up to race day. But if you want your name or logo on those long-lasting race tee shirts we need your answer by October 12. Click here for a Hot COCO 2022 Sponsorship Packet.
Registration Open
Run or Walk, start now and encourage your friends to sponsor you! Enjoy the gorgeous Farmington Canal Line and stately homes. Run for fun before winter comes. Raise $100 or more for a complimentary entry. Visit race manager JB Sports to register and fundraise.
They’re Counting on You!

November 29

Adults we serve at AWB face daily challenges most of us can only imagine. While we receive some state funding, it is not enough. We rely upon the generosity of caring people to make up the difference. After the bustle of Black Friday and Cyber Monday comes Giving Tuesday, Nov. 29 this year. It’s a day celebrating shared humanity and generosity. Please remember us in your end-of-year donations. We appreciate your support in any amount.
Donating is easy! Simply click here or visit our website. All debit and credit cards are accepted and secured by PayPal. Or mail your check to: Abilities Without Boundaries, 615 West Johnson Avenue, Cheshire, CT 06410.
Easy Way to Help in October

Through the month of October, AWB receives a $1 donation from each purchase of the $2.50 reusable Community Bag. At the Stop & Shop store 275 Highland Avenue, Cheshire.
AWB Janitorial Crews Available

You’ll not find a more willing, careful, meticulous group of workers. Every crew comes with a job coach to ensure quality. Our individuals love to work. Enhance workplace diversity. Save money and feel good. Here’s a way to give back while getting something of value in return. For a free site evaluation, call Career Services Coordinator Erika Gregory: 203-272-5607, ext. 1122.
AWB Can & Bottle Donations

Five cents may not seem like a lot of money. But five thousand nickels adds up to a bus trip or special outing for our individuals. It means a lot to them. So much so, that our individuals volunteer their time to take cans and bottles to the redemption center. Donating beverage cans and bottles to Abilities Without Boundaries is one of those “small acts of kindness.” For commercial locations, we can arrange a pick up service. For homeowners, call us to arrange a convenient drop off time: 203-272-5607. All cans and bottles with the CT-5¢ label are appreciated!

Meet Neil

Meet Neil, one of our individuals. If you were to meet him in person, likely the first question he would ask is your favorite football team. Neil knows them all, and the players, coaches, even colors of their home and away uniforms. Same for baseball and basketball. Once you tell him your team, he will never forget. When you see him next, you’d better be prepared with the latest scores and news of your favorite teams. Neil likes to ask questions to which he already knows the answers. He notices every detail. If you change anything about your appearance, be prepared for more questions. He participates in our music program and knows the lyrics to hundreds of, well we actually don’t know how many, songs.
We Need Your Support

Yes, our primary funding is through the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS). However, we rely upon our generous donors to provide extra opportunities for enrichments and activities for our individuals. Music, art, outings, activities, and more rely on donor support. Please consider a donation in any amount. Thank you!
