Resources

As part of our AWB Online© program, we offer here a variety of activities, information and resources you can access and use on your own time. We hope to all be together again after the Covid-19 pandemic subsides and we can safely engage with our individuals in person. Meanwhile enjoy these resources.

We still encourage you to participate in our online classes each day, Monday through Friday. (If you need the online class code, contact us: 203-272-5607 or ask your Program Instructor or Manager. Be sure to visit often and REFRESH as we will continue to add new content here.

Music

“When Words Fail, Music Speaks.” Music is an important part of our experience together. It is a way to connect without words, or sing along with words. Clap your hands, tap your toes, play along with your own homemade instruments in the AWB Junkyard Band or join us for Music Matters. Check out the Music page HERE.

Self Advocacy

Self Advocacy means speaking or acting for yourself. It means deciding what is best for you and taking charge of getting what you want. Self Advocacy means standing up for your rights, your responsibilities, and making your own choices in your life. Advocates fight against discrimination that may treat them differently. View more information and a variety of informative slide show videos HERE.
