Abilities Without Boundaries (AWB) manages the process for you.  By hiring an AWB individual, employer partners cut costs, enhance workplace diversity and directly contribute to their communities.  AWB ensures your work will be done effectively and efficiently. You will be helping AWB by providing employment opportunities for our participants.

Our individuals work for an array of employer partners in the community. AWB also operates a number of innovative business start-ups within our agency.  Our individuals work to carry out tasks and contribute ideas to drive the business itself.  Those unable to take outside jobs still earn a salary with in-house work. Document Shredding, Can and Bottle Recycling and Lawn Care Services are among these in-house businesses.

Cut Costs

Hiring an individual from AWB saves you time and money in the hiring process. We have a pool of qualified workers. We possess the expertise and experience to match the right employee to the right job.

AWB helps you save on training expenses. We provide on-site training for each employee. We train them following your specific qualifications. Then, we supervise and continue training. We provide support until both your organization and ours are confident that our individual meets your job specifications. Then we check in periodically. We offer regular reports to your management.

When contracting one of our work crews, we provide insurance and payroll processing. You are billed monthly for their work on a fixed or piece-rate basis. The assisting AWB job coach is of no cost to the partnering organization and ensures that productivity and quality are of the highest caliber!

While we ask that you pay our workers the going rate, we offer additional services at no cost to you. (The state Department of Developmental Services and our generous donors help support our services.) You get quality assured work done effectively and efficiently. We can work at your site or offer business services at our facility with pickup and delivery.
